TEACHER TRAINING
- Starting Sep 2026 -
Why This Course?
At YogaKademy, we believe becoming a yoga teacher is about far more than learning to sequence a class or gaining a qualification. It's about developing the confidence to lead with magnetic authority and impart wisdom of this ancient practice to others.
Whether your goal is to teach inside your local yoga studio, set up your own classes or retreats or create online Yoga videos, this course has been designed to support you every step of the way.
Throughout the programme you'll be guided by an experienced faculty of specialists covering anatomy, philosophy, breath work, meditation, voice, teaching methodology, sequencing and business, giving you a well-rounded education that prepares you not only to qualify as a teacher, but to become an exceptional one.
Our aim isn't simply that you graduate with a certificate.
It's that you leave with the confidence to stand in front of a room, teach with authenticity, and positively impact the lives of the people who come to your classes.
Because great yoga teachers don't just teach movement.
They create experiences that people remember.

COURSE LEAD
Alex Mackenzie (E-RYT 500)
Your lead tutor, Alex Mackenzie, has spent years helping hundreds of students develop into confident teachers. Alongside founding YogaKave, she has worked with Bath Rugby for the past three seasons and combines yoga, sports therapy and sound healing into a teaching style that is both deeply traditional and highly relevant to modern life.
"Watching someone arrive unsure of themselves and leave confidently leading a room is one of the greatest privileges of my work." - Alex
Learn from Specialists
No one person is an expert in everything.
That's why, alongside Alex's teaching throughout the course, you'll learn from a carefully curated faculty of specialists, each chosen for their expertise in a particular area of teaching and personal development.
Depending on the course, your faculty may include:
-
University lecturers specialising in anatomy and movement.
-
Professional voice coaches to help you teach with confidence and presence.
-
Sanskrit teachers, bringing a deeper understanding of the language and traditions of yoga.
-
Experienced marketing mentors who have built online communities of over 100k followers.
-
Professional photographers to help you launch yourself with confidence after graduation.
-
Guest teachers who bring unique perspectives from across the wellbeing industry.
Every tutor is personally selected by Alex to ensure you're learning from people at the very top of their field.
Rather than relying on a single teacher to deliver every aspect of the training, we believe you'll become a more knowledgeable, confident and well-rounded yoga teacher by learning from specialists who are passionate about sharing their expertise.
