THE 7 CHAKRAS
Chakras – The Energy Line

Before you watch this video, I want to invite you to approach the chakra system in a very specific way.

Not as something to believe in.
Not as something to memorise.
But as something to observe.

The chakras are described as energy centres of the subtle body, but what we are really exploring here are patterns of sensation, emotion, development, and perception.

So as you watch, keep bringing the information back to lived experience.

Notice what you feel in your body as each chakra is described.
Notice which stages of development feel familiar.
Notice which centres feel resourced, quiet, tense, or charged.

You may recognise parts of your childhood, your relationships, your stress patterns, or your sense of purpose reflected back to you. That’s not coincidence — that’s the map doing its work.

After the video, please complete the assignment that follows. It is designed to help you track your own chakra patterns across your life history and your current nervous system, and to begin working with this system as an embodied tool rather than a conceptual one.
There are no chakras to ‘fix.’
Only layers to meet.

So watch slowly.
Feel as much as you think.
And let this be an exploration of your own energy line.
And when you’re ready… let’s begin

Chakras – Body Mapping Exercise

This exercise invites you to explore the chakra system through direct body awareness rather than theory.

Set aside 5–10 minutes in a quiet space where you won’t be interrupted.
You may choose to sit comfortably or lie down.

Gently close your eyes and begin to bring your attention to your breath.
Notice the natural rhythm of breathing without trying to change it.

Then slowly guide your awareness from the base of the spine up toward the crown of the head.

At each area of the body, pause and notice:
• physical sensation
• emotion or mood
• tension or ease
• numbness, openness, warmth, or movement

You do not need to visualise colours or symbols unless they arise naturally.
Simply notice what is present.

You may move through the following regions:

• Base of the spine / pelvic floor – Root
• Lower abdomen – Sacral
• Upper abdomen / solar plexus – Solar Plexus
• Centre of the chest – Heart
• Throat and neck – Throat
• Centre of the head / brow – Third Eye
• Crown of the head – Crown

After completing the scan, take a few moments to sit quietly and sense the body as a whole.
Then write a reflection:

• What did you notice in your body?
• Which areas felt clear, quiet, tense, or unfamiliar?
• Did any emotions, memories, or insights arise?
• How did this change your understanding of the chakra system?

This is not a diagnostic exercise.
It is a listening practice.
